"I chose to have Chris Janke do the inspection for my new construction home in Sarasota based on a strong recommendation of a good friend. It was one of the best decisions I made. His attention to detail was amazing and he was completely thorough on every matter demonstrating wide knowledge and experience. What impressed me most was he wanted to be involved from the beginning of construction and as a result was able to point out numerous things that would be cheaper to add before completion. Things not included in the “basic” construction but important to me would have cost significantly more money to add after. For example additional electrical outlets and hose connections outside the house, ceiling boxes wired for future fans and cable TV connections were just some of the great ideas which resulted in considerable savings. "I asked Chris to inspect my home after some of the recent rains and after the hurricane as well. Chris was very responsive and took the time to fully explain what he would be looking for. Chris was able to identify a drainage issue, which was causing moisture seepage into some interior walls and floor. He offered suggestions for how to best repair the damage and also confirmed there was no mold. After the hurricane, Chris came by again to check if the storm had caused any additional damage or aggravated my current situation. Not being a full time resident, having Chris inspect my home took a huge weight off my shoulders. Chris is friendly, thorough and trustworthy but most of all, Chris is responsive to your needs - which is a big deal when you are calling from a thousand miles away."
